Translation: You hold an opinion contrary to mine, therefore you must be trolling.

It takes one to recognize another.
I guess.

Next time, try spending more than half a sec and come up with an actual point.

PS3 user.
Texture's are pretty bad in places, but I can live with them.
I did play Morrowind on XBOX after all.

I'm playing with "High" texture resolution and 16x Anisotropic Filtering. Haven't found something that is bad that made me stop and say "Holy **** what the **** were these guys doing?"

The fact that I'm using a 17" 1280x1024 screen may very well help, but from what I see, people's clothes are not bad if you do not actually try to focus on the textures and focus on whether you're detected or not instead, it takes your mind off the whole "this texture is bullcrap" stuff.

Zen, you know?

or was it yoga?

Textures are pretty awful. Would it kill Bethesda to make their textures at least 1024 x 1024 and then just downscale them for the consoles?

The loading screens show just how nice this game could look if they weren't so lazy with the PC version (http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m245/A_User_Name_That_Isnt_Taken/temp-528.jpg)

Eh, gameplay over graphics. I can't really say I've stopped in my tracks in Skyrim because I saw a texture that wasn't 2011 worthy. Other than that, mods :l

I wouldn't have minded the lower textures, where used, if they didn't often have the sharper, more "in focus," shiny HDR'd objects sitting right on top of them to contrast how terrible the lower quality textures really are. :P (like plates on a wood table).

There are always going to be some lower res. textures mixed throughout a game...it's how well they're integrated. While playing the game, do they really "leap out at you" here and there, or are they mixed in enough that even when you do notice, for some reason they don't bother you as much...
