Skyrim needed an optional realism mode right?

I'd love it if it had a realism mode.

Bethesda should've took notes from obsidian. Especially when it comes to script writing.

Agreed. I wish food and sleeping served a purpose. Not to mention weather, because snowstorms are no reason to seek shelter now - you can just as well go skinny-dipping while they're going on, and you're fine.

Hmmm, yeah that would be nice to see. Especially hypothermia. Would be pretty awesome to see a group of NPCs surrounding a campfire trying to stay warm during a storm.

You do realize some NPCs actually do crowd around fires warming their hands during storms?

I hated the hardcoe mode in NV, it was just boring for me. But sure, if it's optional.

I'd like this, too, including the stamina hit mentioned earlier. It's not like sleeping takes very long and part of being ready to fight a dragon would, I think, mean maintaining your body with food and rest as much as tending your weapons to keep them all shiny and sharp.

It doesn't need it as in this game svcks without it but I for one wouldn't play anything but hardcoe mode was it an option (and i'm on 360 so no a mod won't do)

I think realism mode should include stuff like not getting the bribe option but needing the persuasion skill to make people do stuff, you shouldn't be allowed to pick a lock at all without the lockpick perk on that level, and without merchant perks you shouldn't be able to sell goods for more than a pittance.

Also, arrows getting stuck in my enemy so I can retrieve them after would be nice. I know this isn't what you meant but for a role playing game it would be nice to have more realism across the board

This happens now. I am always picking the arrows I gave Lydia out of corpses.
