So I bought a house in Whiterun from the bald guy in Dragonsreach. The next day I returned and bought furnitures for my room. Now I went back to him to buy more furnitures for the rest of the house the option just doesn't show on the dialog menu.

Am I missing something?

If you can, I guess its best to reload to where you still had the option, and buy them all at once.

How many furniture 'packs' did you buy the first time?

Are you certain it's the same guy? Did you finish any quests in the meantime?

Yep, it's the same guy. The Jarl Advisor. I've only bought the room pack.

I've finished side quests and progressed through the main quest aswell. Unfortunately I don't have any saves from before this happened.

This is really sad, my house looks like an abandoned warehouse.

Having the same problem, probably a bug.
But reloading it from the last save seemed to have worked for me.

Definitely sounds like a bug, but there are also some quests which affect the people of whiterun's disposition towards you. It's entirely possible that the bald guy just really hates you

I can buy it again now. It looks like the option doesn't show up when he's in the great porch area of Dragonsreach.

Ah, I see, thanks for the info. I guess it wasn't his "working hour" when he was in that area... lol
