Ok, so four hours into the game, just for fun...

I follow through the super-long and excruciating character setup, setting things I will never see on my character.

I do as the guy says... Follow him to the keep. (Found out later that you have two choices there. Follow him, or the storm-cloak guy into another door. That is not as obvious as it could have been.)

Any-who... I follow the guard instead.

He cuts my hands free and tells me to look for some weapons and armor, followed by repeated dialog that drives me insane...
"Search inside one of these chests, there must be some armor here."

So I do... I searched my chest... has no armor...

But his chest has armor... and I search inside it, with my fire-spell and two swords I found hanging on the wall...

I keep trying to search inside his chest, but he won't die... He just stands back up and asks me to search again...

Now I am level 30, with 100 skill in destruction, 100 skill in sneak, and 100 skill in one-handed (Dual-wielding both now.)

He still won't let me into the game! Please, fix this bug... let his chest open, so I can search inside and get the armor he keeps telling me to get!

I'm afraid that I don't understand... how exactly are you trying to search "his chest"?

Not a troll, just killing time until they fix the game for me. (Not that fix, that was humor.)

I figured... I payed for something... A running game was not one of them, so I must be paying for the forums. (So I post until they get back from the holidays to fix what they broke, just before they left. Ruining my holiday.)

you simply need to put the clothes on and the follow the guy to the next room...if its a bug restart...but this really sounds like trolling...no one in this planet would do the same thing for 30 hours

hmm i dunno, been playing now for 60 hours, the only bugs i had were about 4-5 crashes to desktop and REALLY annoying npc/companion ai...but besides that, never a problem

I even tried to melt the armor from his chest...

Now I am all maxed-out, and he won't open the gate, or tell me what to do next... Help!

(Joke, not remotely serious. Well, I am level 30 here... Not 30 hours, only four hours of play. But until they fix the game, I can't go into the next area without the game crashing.)

chest = wooden box you take armor from wooden box, equip it using the inventory (Tab if PC) and you'll be good to go!

The water seems to be crashing my game the most. (Water sounds, or the animation, or LOD. But something to do with the water.)

After this room, he runs until he gets to the room with the water... Then I just crash. I just thought it would be an entertaining way to explain the first three semi-exploits of the game, which happens before the actual game even starts. As opposed to creating pointless posts about making video's of my level 81 character in the "General area", where I believe any post about game-related material, be it humor, or opinion, is not trolling. (That was not me wanting to make a video. I was as ??? as anyone, on that post.)

I refuse to load my other saves, before they "fixed" the DRM, and broke my game. I don't want to start corrupting my good save files. Do tons of work, only to have steam invalidate my saves, and introduce more unfixable questing bugs.
