Dual wield axe + conjuration warrior

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 7:04 am

I'm curious if this character would work out. I want to start a warrior that uses also the summons from conjuration. This was I can let my summon take the aggro. Then it should be possible to go dual wiel axe, isn't it?

Would a character like this be viable or will he die easily?

Also, what perks should I take? I was thinking about full summon conjuration tree, one handed, sneak(cuz i wanna be somewhat assasin-like), light armor?

Let me hear your thoughts on this guys^^

If you are going conjuration and going to max the tree at that, you should use bound swords instead.

The problem I noticed so far is that people care too much if their toon will cut it, stop worrying even on master I run around dual wielding swords with no armor what so ever and I don't feel really gimped ( no crafting exploits btw). Your build is more than viable, just make sure it's the kindda character you wanna play and put all your energy in it don't worry about min/maxing and you should be fine.

That's is correct my friend! However, the thing I'm concerned with is: Where should I sink my points into stat-wise? Does a dual wield need half health-half stamina?

I only ask this because I tend to go wrong with my stat builds as I die pretty often-_-

Since your just using a few spells a health/stamina mix would be good indeed.

I started spending some points in stamina.. But eventually I realized that health is simply better in all situations since you only need stamina for power attacks and with elemental fury + power attacks + remaining duration of fury just double attack is more than enough. And health will allow you to hit more and heal less.

Imo, stamina isn't really needed for DW Build (though I only play expert difficulty. But I'd imagine health would be even more valuable on master)

Mate I do this but with bound dual swords and the bound bow. I'm lvl 20 in leather with my 1h skill and perks also sneak and some perks. I can somon the fire and frost dude. I have 200hp, some stam and you will need a lot of mana. I got 2 +20 mana also. Mostly because the bow and frost dude use a lot. But I tell you I look bad ass with dual swords and I kick ass too. So try it!!

I play 1h/bow/conjuration/resto, put every point into health, lvl 11 on master so far I haven't died once. You take it a bit easy at first ... no unnecessary risks when mobs can 2 shot you. Once you get more health, you don't have to care so much anymore. Don't use dw for now, since 1h does the trick just fine and having a healing spell in my off hand is comfortable. You don't get much benefit from dw before you perk it anyway.

Yes, listen to this man. Neither stamina nor magicka is necessary. All you need is health, health and I use restoration robe for some mana regen/cheaper resto spells.
