Criminal activity question

I was wondering, since this game seems to record pretty much everything you do, including picking the locks wherever and also labels hunting wildlife as ''assault''.

Can you get away with anything just as long as your bounty score is 0 or are there any other side effects? :shocking:

You're kidding me? My hunting deer/rabbits in the hills as suggested by someone in Riverwood is what's given me 20+ assaults? Messed.Up. I shall have no qualms in console commanding this injustice away, and hope there are modders working on this ridiculous mechanic.

If you steal from people they will sometimes send assassins to kill you, even if they never saw you take something from them and your actual bounty is 0.
