Phew, I thought I was the only one!

As long as the unicorns aren't pink, you're ok.

You should take breaks (maybe 5-10 minutes) every hour of staring at a computer screen to reduce frequent headaches and RSIs.

I prescribe more painkillers and more Skyrim.

Trust me. I'm a great physician, and a pretty good dentist.

I believe this may have to do with the terrible point of view in this game.
Its literally like looking through a tube, its so narrow.
This means you have to swivel a lot and I think that the speed at which the image then changes may be an influence.

But, if you experience headaches I would strongly advise you not to use painkillers.
They are dangerous to your health.

There are basically two groups of painkillers, the ibuprofen and the paracetemol group.
The first will give you a severely increased chance of embolisms, the second is addictive to the point that if you use them too much, you will end up experiencing pain if you do not use them.
Do not use painkillers unless you are really really ill and need sleep.

Your body is trying to tell you something with this pain, and it is a bad idea to ignore that via chemical means and continue the activity which causes the discomfort.
If your leg was broken you wouldnt numb it to the point you could walk on it, now would you?

Take a break, have a glass of water, 15 minutes of shuteye.

smoke some chiba.

Better yet, see a doctor and try to swing a prescription to some medical. I've yet to have a headache or migraine that can't be squashed by that particular brand of medicine.

I used to get this badly from games, until I got too old for games and could no longer lose myself for hours enjoying them. I thought I'd never feel that svcked into a game ever again, from about 25 years old to 30 I've been trying to recapture it, but it always just seems like I am trying to force that effortless captivation I used to get, where my eyes would burn and go out of focus and my brain felt like it was pumping endorphins non stop, truly "in the zone".

Skyrim was the first game to make me feel this in years, I'd play 12 hours a day easy the first few days it was out. But eventually that's passed again for some reason. I am taking a break for now.

After consulting a doctor.. Doctor Who to be precise. He said that you are are most definitely not being stalked by any Weeping Angels.. well not likely anyhow. So be sure to blink frequently and give your eyes a rest every so often.
Seriously, staring at almost anything for prolonged periods at a fixed focal length is bad for your eyes. At least once an hour go stair out a window or watch tv or something that is a significantly different distance from you than your monitor.

I think you need to stop playing, get some more sleep and maybe go for a walk or anything that means you're not staring at a screen for a bit. Consult a doctor if it continues, and maybe book yourself in to the opticians just to see if your prescription needs changing.

I'm no doctor, but I do have a theoretical degree in physics.

Closed for review.

I have removed several posts referencing real world illegal substances, it is not allowed on these forums. OP you need to get professional advice if you are really concerned about it, and that does not come on a gaming forum.
