I earned the right to purchase property in Markarth a solid 10 hours back (Now 30 hours in) and I've been holding off on doing so until now. Problem is: NOW I can't buy a house, Raerek's only conversation option is to get bounties, so I did all the bounties he had to offer hoping I could then buy the house, no dice. He just says the same passing crap he always does and when I try to use the compass for the objective "Purchase a house in Markarth" which should point to him, it points to nothing, no arrow appears at all. Has anyone encountered this problem and discovered a fix? And no, I can't reload an older save because my only save that was old enough was inexplicably corrupted.

It's a known bug, hopefully next patch will fix it. Gotta catch em all (houses)!
