I attached a laser sight mod on the Weathered 10mm pistol from the "Classic" pre-order pack. When I did instead of a gun the Courier was was surrounded by a big white square with a red exclamation mark. I loaded a previous save and tried it with a normal 10mm pistol and it was fine. Thought id just tell you guys. Love the game. :fallout:

From what I have gathered reading the forums this is a bug but not in the way you might think.

The problem is that there are not any custom "meshes" to change the way the pro-order gun looks when you attach a modification to it. This is not the bug though...the bug is that the developers did not intend for the pro-order gun to have mods attached to it. On the PC there is a player-made fix for this that basically changes the way the gun looks from it's special look to that of a stantard 10mm pistol, the gun has the enhanced stats as intended but looks like a regular gun but this allows mods to work on it with no graphical problems. Sadly, the likely fix for the console version will be that they make the gund unable to even have mods when they get around to patching it.

i did the same thing i just added a exted mad to it and affter that all of the wepons that i have scopes for do not work when i look down the sites it shows the computer moditoer affer that
