You both misunderstand. It's like the Mafia and Maven's thugs at first, it's your job to fix that.

However, with Maven it's justified. She's a well funded ally. As Brynjolf? mentioned, you NEED those kinds of backers. You did in Oblivion, too. They're required to survive and function.
Maven is kind of a [censored], yes. But a necessary evil.

No she isnt, eyes of falmer and beneziahs crown. Maven isnt needed at all.

I don't understand how people can just toss unique items like that. I store unique EVERYTHING. I've got staves, plate armour, 2 handed axes any unique item I have to keep. It's an OCD thing I have to be able to have every item at least somewhere stored away... but everyone is different so..

I've had the same OCD thing as you since Morrowind. Every Morrowind character I made ended up soul-trapping all the different Dagoths and I put them on a book shelf as trophies. Every unique item currently ends up in a chest, as I'm too afraid that they'll drop through the floor if I put them on display. The risk of bumping into an item makes it even worse.

Fair point. But any organization needs sponsors. That's true for anyone.
