First I'll read off what the error message says: "The program can't start because binkw32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
This comes up when I try to play Oblivion, even after reinstalling it (like it says to do). I Googled this lovely little error message, and people in other forums are assuming that others with this problem have a pirated game... I'd like to state now that I do not have a pirated game.
Which brings me to the next question... If binkw32.dll is missing after i reinstall the game, does that mean the file is missing from the disc itself? The odd thing is that I had the game installed, and played it perfectly (with mods and all).
Strangely enough... when I tried to uninstall it, it said it could not locate some particular file associated with uninstalling it (can't quite remember which one but I'm sure it's easy to narrow down).

Anyway, if anyone could help, please do. I'm dying to get back into some Oblivion.

Grab the dll file from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?binkw32. There are instructions there for how to install it, if you need them.
