Ok, I posted this before and thought the issue had been resolved so let it go. But it hasn't, and it's worse.

I am randomly being attacked by people in the game. It started with the NCR when I went to the Mojave Outpost in a fast travel to finish the Van Graff quest of bringing Cass to them. I got attacked by the whole Outpost. Now it's on the Strip as well. It's pretty much the MPs, especially down towards the Embassy. Then when they start approaching other NPCs, it bleeds onto them. I even had a civilian coming after me, not to mention the Securitrons. So I escaped and fast-traveled out somewhere to do something else. Now a random shopkeeper attacks me. It seems to be almost everyone.

There is no reason for this. I'm not wearing NCR armor (I've tried doing that too. They attack me when I get about 10 feet from them and see who I am). I'm not wearing Legion armor. I've tried wearing business suits, NCR armor, and leather armor. All have no effect. I have an Accepted standing with the NCR and the Strip. I don't have any weapons. I haven't killed any NCR troopers. I even slept for 3 days to make sure any 'animosity' from any stealing or killing I had done was gone. I've reset the game, because I thought the code was getting confused. I tried the dump cache, but I'm not sure if I did it right...

There is no explanation for this. Can anyone shed some light?

Anyone? This is a serious gamebreaker. I can't play anymore until this is solved...the only way to go on is to kill everyone.

I'm experiencing something similar, but not quite the same. I showed up at the NCR outpost, and (wearing NCR armor), CASS showed up as red and starts shooting me. I'm not sure what I've done to make her do that. This is the first time see CASS EVER! Even the first time being at the NCR outpost. I was wearing NCR armor at the time. Without NCR armor, the entire outpost wants to attack me.

Does anyone know where I can go to see my "reputation" with a particular faction?

It's under the General tab in your Stats on your Pip-Boy.

On the Pip-Boy, go to Stats-> General. It will show you your reputation with every faction you've interacted with.

I took some screenshots of my reputation (which seems frighteningly blank.. and how CASS shows up red). I SHOULD be shown with the villainous (or whatever) reputation for Caesar's Legion, as I killed a whole bunch when I went to Nipton the first time. "Let me live" he said. PAH! Level 2(or3), but I had a couple grenades and lots of stims. It was fun.

Can someone help shed some light on why CASS is red??

Also something weird. She is the ONLY ONE in the room that is red. All the other NCR NPC's don't attack me. They will even let me kill Cass and they don't seem to care.

Anything?

I have run into something similar with a certain NCR trooper on leave. He was the only one of the NCR faction who would attack. A member of my party didn't take too kindly to having to kill one of his former comrades... Reloaded previous save and all was well.

Sorry, no idea what's going on though...

Same thing happened to me with NCR moments ago, wasn't even armed and got attacked for no reason, going to wait a few days and see if this blows over.
