I have a strange problem.

Whenever I try to select a plugin in the launcher window the game crashes to the desktop.

Anyone know of any solutions?

To be clear, the launcher crashes when you check a mod (like falloutnv.esm) yes? Have you tried verifying the game cache?

If it crashes check your event viewer for any clues.

Indeed, the launcher menu crashes when I select any esp or esm files.

I already tried verifying the game cache and a complete reinstal. None of it worked.

Where can I find the event viewer?

The event viewer can be found in control panel -> administrative tools -> then event viewer.
Check the application logs under windows logs. You may want to clear the logs then recreate the crash. RIght click the log and select clear log. You dont have to save it.


What mods do you have installed?

In the end it had to do with a BSA.file that failed to load.

I loaded up the game in the New Vegas Mos Manager and everything works fine now.
