I f some modder could make a plugin that makes it so there is no resting allowed in shops.
I for one would really appreciate it and would desire that it cover the entire game and both expansions.
I believe btb did this in his game improvement mod but it also affected alot of other stuff i dont agree with.

I looked at btbs setting file and was able to make a mod using just his sleep settings but you can still wait in shops and i just cant see a merchant having you waiting around for 24 hours....is there an easy way to make it so waiting cant happen.

You'd have to add a script to all shop owner NPCs (or add to existing scripts to NPCs with them already) that made it so if you loitered in a shop up until, say, 2000 (8pm), he would appear in front of you (PlaceAtPC) and a messagebox would appear with him telling you to leave because he is closing. And if you refused, then he'd call the guards. This should probably be a thing that is added to Living Cities of Vvardenfell mod for an update. That is how I'm designing all the shops in Pelagiad Expanded. It has its own LCV built into it since all interior cells are new.
