I have been unable to get past the first roulette timer without crashing, ever. I am able to get through the first few screens and start a new game but when it tries to start a new game for the first time it crashes and closes. Purchased through Steam. I have verified the file integrity of the game cache numerous times and every time it says "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" . I have also uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.

GeForce GTX 480

Asus gamer osd is known to cause new game crashes for fallout new vegas. If you have it uninstall it.
