Dark brotherhood quest line (Oblivion/Skyrim)

I personaly loved Oblivion DB quest lines way more, maybe because it was something new that I encountered at TES series, and Vampire fella was just simply amazing, I wish we could see more of him "if we didn't murder him at oblivion" :violin: :violin:

I loved Oblivion's DB. The Skyrim one feels like plain old murdering radicals.

Skyrim because I get to wipe out the Dark Brotherhood. I don't do evil characters, so the whole DB in Oblivion was wasted on me

the oblivion quests were way better but i couldnt stand the oblivion characters. the skyrim DB seems a bit more grounded and less insane.......more like professional killers than asylum escapees. i would say its a tie for me. i think i finished the DB questline in little over an hour and that was not using fast travel.

No spoilers, but I love assassinating people, especially high profile people, so I enjoyed Skyrim's a lot more.

The DB in Skyrim was truly awful.. After such a strong start I was really looking forward to it but pretty much every quest had me back stab someone, no special conditions to add a little more of a challenge or creative thinking to the quests. And as for the conclusion.. After who you kill I thought it would have a pretty huge impact on the game world but nope, few guards may make a small comment but that's it.

The DB quests in Oblivion were superbly written, they outshined every guild in the game, and the main quest to boot.. hard to beat that.

The Skyrim Dark Brotherhood quest line is subpar on a variety of levels. It was simply disappointing.
