Khajit Caravan : V

There are three of these right? I've seen some outside of towns, but I'm looking for the one with Khayla and I must have been to every single town and I still can't find it. Are there any tips for finding these Khajit Caravans? Should I look on the roads, do they camp on roadsides?

They just walk around, i think they only camp in the Hold capitals.

It's kinda like Maiq I think. It just happens and you can't really track it, but if someone knows I'd be interested as well.

Having played for over 70 hours I've only met one caravan and about 5 Khajiit, so I have no idea how to help you. The rarity of Khajiit and pretty much everything outside of human races is one of my biggest annoyances about this game.

Personally, I think they should have turned one of the forts or towers into a Khajiit shanty town full of traders, a couple of quests and a free room/house. Missed opportunity. I like the Khajiit yet my only experience has been one trying to assassinate me, a caravan, a scripted dead caravan and Maiq. Slightly disappointing.

There are 3 caravans that travel between the 9 main cities. You can also find them traveling if you are lucky.

Spoiler

One of the Dark Brotherhood quests make you assassinate one of the Khajiits in one of the caravans. Since they stay together all the time, you wind up taking out most of the caravan. :sadvaultboy:

I'm pretty sure that each caravan has a set route though. The one with the old Khajiit male seems to pop up in Whiterun and Markarth (maybe in another minor city where I've missed them). I've seen the woman's caravan in Riften, but I'm sure they travel too.

There are about 12 Khajiit walking around Skyrim in caravans. There is one that works at a shrine in the Reach. Another is found at the College of Winterhold
