How much health does my horse have?

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 2:05 pm

so when i unmount to attack my attacker, horsey-horse keeps running in and joins the battle!!
lol!

problem is I've had to re-load a saved game several times because horsey-horse keeps getting killed!!

I purchased the Healing Hands spell so I could heal it, but it's current health does not show up in the normal target meter, just under the compass.....

so how do I know when it's health is low and I need to heal it???
??

thanks

Just stick a Fortify _____ spell on it and hope for the best. Shadowmere appears, to me, invincible - charged down numerous dragons and come out unscathed.

Every horse but Shadowmere is level 4 and has 289 health. Shadowmere is level 50 and has 887 health. It's annoying enough that they just take off and attack on their own -even when you're not being attacked- but then to make them so easily killed is just plain stupidity. I've gotten to where I don't even use a horse any more. It is a hassle. If you're riding it you have to run away from anything that attacks you because if you get off, the mobs totally ignore you and go straight for your horse, and nothing you can do will make them attack you. Doesn't make any sense, my horse is level four and poses no threat compared to my character who's level 54 and can one-shot you. So, while riding my horse I would just sprint away from mobs. Then when I would get to my destination, I would have to leave my horse miles away in a scouted out area so it wouldn't fly off in a rampage, even though, like I said, NOTHING had attacked or even noticed us. They need to fix this. Horses in this game are insane.

Shadowmere can be killed, but is less likely considering it is level 50 with more health than the other horses. Also, Shadowmere has a regenerate health ability.

I wish we could enchant a saddle or bridle with regenerate health and give it to the horse. I also wish horses had attributes and would level up the more they fought or ran.

But, if wishes were horses ... (that is a saying, right? I'm sure I've heard it)

Just going by the guide, it says Frost is level 4 with 289 health, like the rest of the horses. The only horse they say is different is Shadowmere who is level 50 with 887 health. Also, Shadowmere has a note that says, "regenerates health."
