Difficulty setting?!

I was wondering, what would you recommend and why?

No fighting please, i am seriously trying to understand the pro's and cons about certain settings in order to find what is the most fun gameplay wise!

Uh... obviously whatever you have fun with. If you're getting trashcanned every fight you should probably turn it down and if you're one-shotting and blasting your way through your enemies you should turn it up. Of course if you like dying a lot or blowing everything up instantaneously then that's another matter. I personally play on adept because I feel I'm challenged enough where I should be without dying frequently which I naturally, do not enjoy.

Fun is subjective, so good luck with this thread, BUT, I would say master. Knowing you can take on opponents at the highest difficulty is satisfying to me.

Adept I consider "easy", Expert "normal" and Master "hard".

Anything below Adept can be considered "roflstomp".

assassin: master, force me into the shadow because i dont stand a chance in toe to toe combat
