arrows should be craftable

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:57 pm

Arrows are just not enough in abundance at stores although i do have a almost 300 iron arrows and 100 steel arrows but they were all looted from bad guys. Arrows should be craftable by bundles of 5 or 10 per ingot so i don't have all that extra metal taking up carry space

Use the metal for other things, like selling or crafting. I would also like to create my own arrows, prefereable ones with poisons or enchants already on them but oh well. Finding "regular" arrows though isn't hard. I have like 600 iron and around 100+ for the other types, all found from drops or stolen.

Wait for people to practice archery and then take all the arrows from the target :)

He doesn't. Like I posted above, the only way to do it right now is via mod.

Arrows are nearly impossible to make, being engineering marvels. Just a tad easier to craft than spears, which have baffled Tamriel's scholars for hundreds of years now.

Wish I could make use of the mods, one of the biggest downsides of playing on console. It would be nice if making your own arrows was implemented into the vanilla game. It seems like theres everything you need in the game, the metal, feathers and the mills in the all the different towns. But since I cant use the mod for it, Im content just killing bandits and looting them

I never thought arrows were hard to find in stores. I can usually get about 25-30 "high-level" arrows per store whenever I visit a city. I had to sell about 200 Orcish arrows after Dwarven arrows started being sold.
Also, I'm pretty sure I've seen some venders with 100+ steel arrows.

I have one rp character who I chill with., ie a wood elf hunter, who ranges across the land hunting game, so would be nice to be able to craft them as she shy's away from other people and only visits towns infrequently to produce and sell leather and flora and fuana ingredients. She could make up a stock ready for her next hunting session. Only way to get them at present is to go into bandit camps/caves or buy from vendors. (Will look at the targets as mentioned above, but not sure how many that would furnish her with.
