Yes Man Vs Mr. House

Post » Mon Oct 12, 2009 2:33 pm

First, let me state what I am wanting to do in the game.

I would like to take control of New Vegas, side with the NCR, and eliminate the Legion. If all are possible.

I'm at the stage where you get the chip for Mr. House and have the securibots upgraded. Should I kill Mr. House now, or wait until after the fight with the NCR and the Legion. Does it matter? Because when I kill House and put yes man in control it gives me the "don't tread on the bear" and whatever the similar quest from the legion. Can I ignore this or does the NCR get upset with me for trying to take over New Vegas.

Sorry if this is confusing. Just ask if you need clarification.

PS. If I choose to "ignore group" from yes man does that mean I will leave them alone when I control New Vegas or shun them?

Wow interesting, I want to literally do the same exact thing. Literally, straight to the t.

I took down Mr. House, but I didn't speak to Yes Man that I have done it nor the other clans to talk to during that whole take over quest. I plan to join NCR first before I do any of that and "seal the deal", then go to Yes Man.. and well.. hope for the best. Then of course destroy ceaser.

That's essentially what I am doing.

I did the quest where you get the chip from The Fort and return it to Mr. House. Now, I'm trying to convince the Boomers to side with the NCR to be "liked" by them. Then I plan on killing Mr. House and taking over New Vegas.

Just hoping I don't run into any complications.

You can ignore the two betrayal quests, nothing will happen until you decide the fate of all the factions. Even after that, you only take a minor rating hit that'll take you from neutral to mixed, so you won't have to worry about making enemies because of it.

So if I replace Mr. House with Yes Man and decide the fates of all the factions, I won't have the NCR refusing help from me like it says? Will NCR's outlook on me upgrade once I get the Boomer's support for them?

Also, if I choose to "ignore" a certain faction after visiting them does that mean they will be included New Vegas under my control?
