Ever since Morrowind, I've felt that TES is GTA: Medieval Mode.

I mean, you can steal everything you see, kill (practically) everyone you meet, and with the introduction of horses in Oblivion, you can now commit grand theft equine.

Weird way to compare it, but you may be correct. We will possibly see Fallout 4 on this generation, although i prefer it release for the next generation.

Skyrim is a learning experience for Bethesda, in preparation for Elder Scrolls VI on next-gen hardware.

They are experimenting with what works and what doesn't work.

Seriously the engine is a little bit better, still heavily based upon the older gen engine but atleast i can force a decent occlusion through drivers now

TES doesn't feel look or play like Grand Theft Auto at all, first of all in GTA the only thing you can steal are vehicles, there are no character prog...

The engine is obviously not that much more powerful than Oblivion's, but the work they've done with the art style and the way the textures and models fit in with each other is amazing.

The quicker we get rid of consoles crap the quicker will get more then just "good" FO/TES games.

Won't happen, so my hopes for both the franchise are very low.

I want Bethesda to take their time with Elder Scrolls VI. No solid release date until it's gone gold.

I disagree, other then the UI the game has not suffered too much from consoles. I think its more that Bethesda is trying to reach a more broad fanbase, thereby streamlining the more tedious tasks (such as Speechcraft). While I disagree with this, I dont blame it on console players.

Sure vice city = Skyrim it has improvements over the last but at least Skyrim doesn't equal GTA4 which took everything except the graphics that GTA had created through 3-SA

Weird way to compare it, but you may be correct. We will possibly see Fallout 4 on this generation, although i prefer it release for the next generation.

Already confirmed that next BGS will be on Next gen consoles, whether or not that includes all Beth games and FO4 is unknown but I doubt it.
