Hi guys, I just got Skyrim on Wednesday and thought that the Redguard was the coolest looking character. At the moment he is level 10 and has like 50 one handed, 28 sneak and 28 light armour. I think those are my highest skills.

If you have experience of redguards, what's the best way to build them? I've never played one before. Also what are some good perks to go after?

Well, I had a quick look at the Redguard racial traits and from what I read, they are quick, hardy, good with sword and shield. They despise comjuration, but like destruction spells. So you could maybe go with light armour, sword and shield, get smithing to a good level and build up the destruction side of magic.
One handed weapons and blocking would come in handy too in the skill tree.
As was noted though, TES is infinitely variable and there is no right or wrong way to build a character.

Redguards are mainly warriors my friend. Using warrior skills is a good way to start as a redguard. To be honest though I prefer a mix between an assassin and a warrior. Using my bow while sneaking to take out enimes while charging in with my sword when they see me.

That's what I was thinking. I like the Assassin build, so far my archery is only 21 I think, but I want to level it higher. I managed to find that trainer in Whiterun and he bumped my one handed by 10 or so. I'm trying to improve my smithing and Archery at the moment. I'm not a huge magic user, but destruction is always fun.
