I recently made my new set of nice ebony armor after wearing the dwarven for a long long time. And what do I see? Despite my ebony armor parts have significantly more armor rating than my dwarven ones, I end up with 405 armor rating in the end, whereas my dwarven gives me 423 o.O

I have Juggernaut 4/5, Well Fitted and Matching set perks. So what happens I think is that the game doesnt recognize the ebony armor as a matching set, so I'm missing the 25% bonus from the perk.

Any suggestions how to fix this? Is it even possible?

There is a quest that rewards you with improved benefit from dwemer armour. You may have ran across it?

The matching set isn't working with ebony armor. I ran into that as well.

Sorry, kinda lazy. What do the individual armor pieces add up to?

Chest: 140
Helmet: 68
Gloves: 58
Boots: 58

Adds up to 324

If I wear them, I get the said 405 armor raing. (324+324*0.25=405)

So whats missing there is another 81 AR, coming from the Matching Set perk.

Yep same here.It is bug with Matching Set I think.On brighter side it works with orc armour (which is better than dwarf I think) so go for that one next.Lets hope it gets fixed in patch.To be honest I wont use it anyway really dislike ebony helmet

Yeah the helmet kinda screws the whole thing a bit, but i think it looks nice anyway ^^ far better than in oblivion...
