"Cowboys & Indians"

Instead of Caesar's Legion, instead we hearken back to the 1950's and the popular childhood pastime and TV and Film trope, and Native Americans are the faction on the other side of Hoover Dam. Just imagine the ambiguity of who's right and who's wrong, the drama, the "heart" I find missing from FONV. I want that game instead. I want the http://www.native-languages.org/headdresses.htm!

uhhh no.

fallout is a game, not political commentary.

also i dont get how making Caesars legion into Indians makes things more ambiguous.

The Great Khans serve some elements of native americans. While they are more directly mongol influenced, they fill the niche role of the tribe threatened by settlers and expansion. If you pay attention to the undertones, you'll see they're a group the NCR higher ups have absolutely no intention of dealing with fairly and only intend to wipe out or force off the land. Not nearly as sympathetic as popular native american presentations, but they weren't always paragons of virtue in the real world either.

I'd love for them to be included. It fit well with this Fallout build.

Just don't refer to them in any perceived deragatory terms. In the last thread about this it became a very heated discussion. Interestingly enough the people who were actually of Native American decent posting didn't seem to have a problem with the term I used. Hint: Think John Wayne style western if you want to know the term.

Threads like this make me wonder if people have ever been on a reservation.
