Ban Skyrim!

Well, land of crazy wanted to stop Lord of the Rings "Two Towers" movie just after 9/11 as well.

The fact that Two Towers was written a few decades before 9/11, and the content of Two Towers have zero content related to politics, Al-Qaida, the USA or anything at all, didn't seem to matter for the average clownshoe in the US.

Excuse me but I happen to be a member of the radical right, and I would like to speak up and inform you that it was the radical right Christian's that fought for the rights that we take for granted today.

As a member of the RADICAL CHRISTIAN right, I am smart enough to realise that everyone has the right to play whatever games that they choose, because if we go down the slippery slope of banning peoples rights and infringing on peoples rights then at the end of the day what rights do we really have?

So nooo we can never have enough free speech. In fact even though I cant stand what they are saying, but a Nazi's free speech should be protected every bit as much as mine.

correct everyones right to free speech needs protecting, other wise who would we ridical.
ps radical!!!

baseline is (this may offend some people) religion is pure hypocrisy (edit for better use)

as an athiest myself i can make judgements based upon my moral values.

example: "god" says thou shall not lie.

ok=> World War 2, you are hiding jews in your basemant, gestapo comes knocking on your door, and asks, "do you know of any jews in the surroundings", a good christian by default would say , o yes we have some in our basemant, cuz you cant lie hurdur...

i dont need a "god" in my life to be happy, i can make up my own mind

so many people are killed over religious conflicts... and for what? for nothing. Unnecessary bloodshed, we are all the same, just a diffirent color thats all. religion has devided so many family's, so many wars have been fought over something fictional, it sickens me...

christians, jews, islam, its all the same batch, all equally hypocrite

sorry had to get this off my chest

ps i dont judge people on their religion, but on the person they are (that is the only correct way) Religion needs to be struck down for people to live normally

Anyone who thought that was serious needs to slap themselves. Whether or not it was put there in any form of seriousness, the original article is a joke.

And those knocking religion: I'm not religious, but regardless of how true or untrue it is, and all the rights and wrongs of it, the undeniable fact is it played a huge part in getting human society to where it is today. And taken wisely and with a good dose of logic and common sense, there is a lot of good in those books. Just sayin.

No, you just assumed that anyone who follows a religion is therefore weak and a blind follower. That's simply not true. Just because you don't discriminate when judging people for their religious beliefs doesn't mean you aren't judging them. Btw I'm an atheist, but that post was terrible.

Whereas videogaming has proven to cause social, ethical and health problems in people of all ages, So THAT was why I contracted Diabetes in 1986...

Whereas sixual perversion and homosixuality are threatening to destroy the Christian foundations on which this nation was built Ahhhhh 'Christian foundations'. That Explains everything then

Whereas a new video game has just been created that far exceeds any others in the psychological and spiritual damage it does to teens What about advlts? We play video games too... AGEIST

We, the American people, today ask you

1) To enact an immediate ban on the videogame known as "SkyRim" produced by Blizzard Entertainment. Blizzard??

2) To seize and destroy all copies already in public hands and erase its presence on the internet. Yeah... Good luck with that *Polishes Trident*

3) To prosecute the players of "SkyRim" to the fullest extent of the law. Burn the Skyrim Witches, it'll be like the good old days in Salem

4) To create a national database of videogame avatars and "screen names" so that teenagers can be better monitored. They'll be wearing leather jackets, carrying switchblades and listening to Rock and Roll next.

Seriously. America, do something about your Christian hardliners before they start a bloody war

Not on these forums it isn't. Discussion of real life religion and religious topics is specifically prohibited by the forum rules you agreed to when you joined. Still you managed to get this topic closed so I am sure everyone will say "thank you".
