what should the argonians do?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 9:58 am

all this talk about the stormcloaks and which side is better has me wondering where should black marsh go on this should they stay out of this potentially leaving themselves vulnerable to the thalmor should the thalmor come to conquer the empire and skyrim . or should they pick a side ? i think this is important considering argonia is more than just a tribal state now theyve there ownl little empire now and they proven there as tough as any army (mercilessly beating the dremora)

  • Stormcloak - a Stormcloak victory would hasten the attack of the Thalmor, and would make it more likely that they would win. So it's viable, if your character wants to set up the Stormcloak rebellion in order to have it knocked down.
  • Empire. Crush the racists! Argonians are subject to racial abuse at the Windhelm docks, as one example. Antiracism = Antistormcloak, unless you're using the reasoning from the first point.
  • Neutral - hate the Stormcloaks, but don't want to support a crumbling, corrupt Empire.

Hey, hey, easy! Argonians are pretty cool.

Their females scare the hell out of me in Skyrim though, brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. They were (and looked) a lot more kind in Oblivion.

My Argonian joined the Legion. The Empire is needed against the Thalmor. Then Talos worshipping can be restored again.

The Argonians can just not give a crap and hug their hist tree forever, correct?

It makes them stronger! Sooner or later Black Marsh is going to join the fight and kick some Thalmor ass. :)

karma is a bich aint she? but i do like the dunemr of skyrim, they have, for soem reason, a better attituded and they are not as stuck up(i HATED the morrowind dunmer and oblivion dunmer), you can thank argonians for making the dunmer worth sparing. still love argonians most

but anyway, argonia should stay neutral, they can deal with the thalmor easily enough when they set thier sights on blackmarsh

I'd like to see the Aldmeri try to take the Black Marsh!
They might find it's a little different from the Summerset Isles they're so used to.
The Argonians wouldn't even have to defend themselves!

Empire.

In current conflict. But keep neutrality with everyone else as much as possible.
Also, when I say Empire I don't mean sending the entire army over. More like support by other means. For example, I'm Argonian marsh warrior sent to Skyrim to assassinate Stormcloak supporters in towns and elsewhere.

Neutrality is also fine. But I've just been to Riften recently, and before that in Windhelm, Winterhold and Solitude. Imperial town of Solitude gives by far the best impression so far. Architecture, style, people, atmosphere - without peer. In the interest of the Black Marsh should be the elimination of these tribal bandits, and maintaining the balance of power between other factions. Too strong Empire not good for Argonia either.
