C&C Blackwood Company mod Questions.

Alright i knew from the beginning that the quest mod "C&C The Blackwood Company" hat some bugs but i did not expect to encounter one already after receiving the second quest. To be more precise the "Bandits and Marauders" quest. I talked to the Black Bow recruiter and after that i went to a town...smacked a druid in his face and got the minimum bounty that was required by the Black Bow recruiter. But when i go back to talk to him he just keeps repeating that i need at least a bounty of 40 gold...eventhough i already have that minimum bounty?

Might be that.

try this: stand in front of the recruiter, open the console, select yourself, and type in: setcrimegold 399 and immediately talk to the recruiter.

If that doesn't work try disabling Crime has witnesses, doing the quest, and then re-enabling it.

That did the trick thanks phoenix1213. :foodndrink:

Now i just have to remember to use that when i am dealing with those bandits and when i am around Leyawin. Well use it if the standard way of getting a bounty does not work that is. :)

Ok next problem. I am currently doing a quest for the Blackwood Company where...

I was asked to join up as a guard on a prisoner escort from Leyawyn to Bravil. Near Bravil other Blackwood Company members would Ambush the guards and at that moment i should act as well and free the prisoners...escort them to Bloodmayne Cave and then get a Bounty set on them so the Blackwood Company could earn some gold from it. :chaos:


Now in my case when the other BC members come to my...aid there are three prisoners present. Their "Leader" tells me that ones all of them are freed from the shackles i should talk to him again. But ones i freed him and the other two that so called leader only has the topic rumors? Did i do something wrong here, should there be more prisoners or something.

Like a good Legionnaire Escort leader he went after every freaking hostile creature while constantly running. Could this behavior have resulted in losing one or more prisoners along the way. I hope not because the Escort Leaders path was so erratic that i would never find those lost prisoners so to speak. If this is indeed the case then how the @*&...ck can i finish this quest?

Nevermind as far as this quest is concerned, i took a dive in to the CS to see if i could find info on how to advance the quest "The Fugitives". And after searching for a while i was able to advance past the point i was stuck by....

Opening the console and type;

setstage LingBC06fugitive 50

This will set the quest to the point where your journal mentions that you escorted the fugitives to Bloodmayne Cave as ordered, and it will allow you to talk to a beggar in Bravil so that a bounty is set on those fugitives. (Which you are order to collect by your BC Commander. :D )

Might want to get refscope. The most recent version allows you to look up the ID's of quests while in the game, from there you can usually work your way up to the stage you need like:

setstage 5
setstage 10
setstage 15
etc.

Any stage you'vealready metwon't do anything, but it's nota perfect method. I imagine it wouldn't work well for more complex quest mods with 'diverse' quest stages (like Integration)

Next question people.

I am currently doing the "The Second Deal" quest for the Blackwood Company, and i am going through the Fieldhouse Cave trying to find the Sword Sinweaver, but for crying out loud i just can not seem to find it? Does any one know where in the Fieldhouse Cave i can find the Sinweaver sword? I even tried what was mentioned in this thread but it did not solve the problem for me either. :sad:

I had problems with that one too - the leader chased some bandits down near Water's Edge, then I lost him and his crew - they just vanished! I got fed up and didn't feel like leading them all the way to Bravil while having to fight every. Single. Bad guy. along the way, so I set it to stage 80 (the guards are dead, the prisoners are in the cave, and you get the "contract"), but when I went in, no one was there. So, I just set it to stage 100. :( After some debate, I decided to keep playing, but this is the second time I've run into quest-killing bugs (the first was the Back Road quest - I found the burning wagon, but I never found the guards, so I was forced to advance that one manually too).

LoL you might think so, but i have killed everything and every one inside. :)

I checked all the conjurers inventory after killing them and none of them has Sinweaver. And i have been searching through the entire Fieldhouse Cave several times now. :shifty:

Yeah that was quit an annoying quest. As far as finding the guards...well i have the mod Radar System By VipCxj installed(With custom textures) so that was not a problem for me. But i really was anoyed by that running around by the Escort leader that i enjoyed killing him. :D

Alright i got tired of all the bug solving with this mod, so i un-installed The Blackwood Company Mod. Shame actually because the quests you get to do are good story wise and all, and as i mentioned in my first post here i was aware that it hat bugs but i did not expect this much. Oh well means that i can finally start with the Gates of Aesgaard 1 & 2. :D
