Belethors general store in the marketplace in Whiterun, Bits & Pieces in Solitude, second door on the right as you walk, look for the pawnbroker icon on signs.

Also, get the speechcraft perk that lets you sell any item to any merchant. Probably one of the most valuable perks I ever picked up.
