Need some help with MGE and others

Finally fired up the game after updating MGE, grass replacers, tree replacers, etc, etc.

I have a strange problem, which did affect me years ago. At Cell (-1, -1) I have a Vivec Canton mesh appearing, but only with distant land.
I've been through all my mods, NONE add this mesh there, and it does indeed vanish when you approach.

Also, how do I get MGE to show my redesigned vivec correctly? It's still rendering the original meshes over the top. I seem to remember years ago an exclusion list system, but that doesn't seem to be a function anymore (version 3.8 of mge)

What controls the swaying speed of the grass mods? I'm finding they are swaying way too much and fast, but don't know what needs to be changed to adjust this.

A mod has a problem with landscape, how do I fix a "Unable to load texture idx 3" error? This error also stops it from processing in MGE

How do I enable screenshots in MGE? I keep enabling it in morrowind.ini, but MGE changes it back, and the tickbox in MGE is disabled....

While testing the setup, discovered that lava_light_300 light source shows up in game with a square block. What could be causing this marker to appear?
