The more I play.....

I don't get too much playtime on Skyrim, however the more I play it the more I just love this game, I have played The Elder Scrolls series since Daggerfall and really must say a huge thank you to Bethesda for Skyrim, its simply awesome, I think this will last me for a very long time. I play on PC by the way and have had no issues whatsoever running on almost all max settings on my modest rig, Amd2 x2 3.2 Ghz, Radeon HD6770, 4 gig Ram. Very often I just have to stop in amazement and admire the scenery :) There are however a couple of issues that although I can happily continue playing as they are, I would of liked them to be better, The UI could of been much better on PC but I'm sure mods will fix that if Bethesda don't, would of been nice to rename my save games too to reflect the task I was working on at the point of saving, lastly a little more information in the journal regarding quests would of been nice, like being able to reflect over old conversations held. Small issues that I'm sure will be addressed and as I said they in no way affect the enjoyment I get from this near masterpiece. THANK YOU BETHESDA! Keep up the outstanding work.

I recently discovered you can play tag or hide-and-go-seek with children. Odd.

I agree with all you said. I don't think I've ever buried this many hours this quickly into a game after launch. (I think I'm about 70 hours in).

I play on 360, so I'm probably not seeing the nicer detail in the PC version as you are, but I'm still very pleased with the graphics, atmosphere and presentation. Bethesda is well deserving of my accolades.

Nice description OP. Also it sounds like you are the "exploring" type. Skyrim will reward you in your playstyle. There are lots of random encounters and locales you will completely miss by Fast travelling everywhere. Take your time and enjoy!

Thank you, yes you are correct I love the exploration aspect and how Bethesda has implemented it, I very rarely use fast travel, twice actually since i started playing and one of those times was simply to travel to a location so that I could sell excess gear in my bags as I could carry no more :)
