I am level 12 wood elf playing as an archer/thief. I stumble across erm, haemers folly or something, a vampire cave. This Master vampire literally kicked my butt so many times. It was crazy.

yeah they are a [censored] to kill to add some drain magic poisen
or come back later lvl
as archer/thief are are quit fragile

Lol, yeah, they start at level 14 and go up to level 53... O.O

Really? I killed one at level 9. Mostly steel armor, orc axe with a shield, used one potion of extreme healing. I guess I should mention that was on the default difficulty.
