Was on my way to Ivarstead from Valtain towers, when i was about halfway up the mountain i ran across an litte stone fundament, or well. more like an damage little outsidebathroom without roof. Well anyway there was something blue lying there on an basket,a book! it gave me +1 conjuration.
I dont know why 'cuse i ussaly dont do this' but there was an rabbit running right beside me, so i though what the hell! lets see if i could hit the bastard with the basket. to my suprise! under the basket was the smallest little locked box i have ever seen!

So have any of you guys seen more of these hidden box?

That's cool. I miss the little jewelry boxes from Oblivion but I haven't started my thief character yet, but even in Oblivion I remember a few in dungeons.

I'm pretty curious as to what these look like. I've never seen what I would consider a smaller than average lock box. I guess I'll be on the lookout!

i dunno if this counts but i found a grand soul gem and an orcish bow perched behind an architectural ornament on one of the barrows.

That's just great. There's so much in this game it's mind-boggling.

Those boxes are usually the rewards for the treasure map mini-games.

Yet to see one of those yet. I did however find a full bowl of emeralds and diamonds and garnets randomly at this base camp near Dawnstar. This Argonian woman was there so I just killed her off when she was sleeping, best decision I ever made.

The one the OP is talking about is not too far from Darkwater crossing near the waterfalls, up the river from That One Mill lol.

I have tipped over several baskets and surprised at the little treasures inside. The other day I was taking apples out of a bowl and two gems were under them...neat little finds.
