Like many other little tidbits in this game, the story of H?H tools is underdeveloped and plagued with continuity errors.
There are three Houses mentioned in reference to this company: Robert House (of the Lucky 38,) his half-brother (referred to both as Anthony and Alexander) and their father—the company founder, whose first name is never given. The derivation of the company name is also unclear.
The company is referred to as H & H Tool, but the logo does not contain an ampersand. it is not clear whether it was named for House & House or whether the father's first name begins with H. Since both Mr. Robert House and the Tool company are allusions to real-world father and son: Howard Hughes, Sr. & Jr. and the Hughes Tool Company.
As for who killed whom, there is no evidence of fratricide. Alexander/Anthony house maneuvered Robert out of the company and became increasingly mentally unstable. He finally sealed up the factory and, one can logically assume, died there.
All of this, again, manufactured out of whole cloth from the storied life of Howard Hughes, Jr.
