Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 10:42 am

Many of the characters tell me I don;t look well, sick etc. What is this all about?? Thanks!

go to an altar, any altar and get a blessing. you have a disease most likely from an animal bite. normally effects health, stamina or magicka

It's because...you're sick! Go to the main menu, Magic, and Active Effects. Somewhere in there will be a negative effect with a disease as the cause. Go to an altar or drink a potion to cure yourself.

It's because you're diseased, you should find a cure disease potion or prey to one of the gods.

I don't have a disease and some people still says that I look sick. Just a very select few, yes, but still pretty annoying

If you've only been told you're ill by alchemists and healers, you're probably perfectly healthy. It's just their way of instilling doubt and drumming up business. If you're getting it from random NPCs, though, then you're actually sick.

so you have tried to pray at an altar just in case? Try sleeping in a bed for 24 hours and become well rested? Try eating some food too

Without any stats it was annoying trying to find out what was wrong. I thought they were roleplaying in Whiterun the first time I ever went there because of how I made my character?

The lack of a decent manual to this game was upsetting too.

Go to, magic - active effects - anything in red.

Other than that they are probably trying to sell you a potion.

It's from not sleeping. Any disease, including vampirism, will cause them to say it...but so does lack of sleep.

Chances are if nps are telling you that you look sick then you are, just head to altar located in the temples and your diseases will be cured.
Also Arcadia who runs Arcadia's Cauldron will always seem to say that you look pale-disregard her statement I've checked magic>active effects for any diseases and find that I have no diseases.

I hate how everyone says "is that fur behind you ears?"

No dummy, it is hair.

I had people asking me that. It was only appropriate because if you see my Santa Claus character, he looks like a cancer/burn patient.

@timmy This is way off topic but that is the ugliest avatar I have ever seen. No, not being insulting. I figure it is supposed to be funny. It is quite creepy ;)

I've been told I was sick repeatedly by random NPCs that weren't trying to sell anything to me while I was perfectly healthy.

It's a glitch. If you've ever become diseased, then, despite curing yourself, they always seem to act like you still have one. They need to fix this.
