fus-ro-dah!

so recently i had a quest to go to voltheim towers (somewhere i've already been sent to like 3 times for other quests, must be a popular place) but anyway i had to kill the leader. well as i was walking in i realized that none of the enemies were hostile... whatever, just walked past them to my quest marker. well there was a nicely position bandit on a ledge so i fus-ro-dah'd him to his doom. wouldn't you know he didn't even get hurt! what the heck dude you fell like 50 feet! any1 else have this issue?

Well, I don't think I've ever killed anyone with my unrelenting force. It usually just blows them way back and gives you a few seconds to close in and kill them so at least you aren't alone on this problem :P

I've killed enemies by throwing them off ledges/high places. Killed two people by flinging them down a rather large flight of stairs.

I've had the exact opposite happen. Used unrelenting force (on ground level) and strolled over to start hammering blows only to find my enemy dead. I find it to be great fun fus-roh-dah'ing people off of towers though.

my concern is, if i fall from anything above 20 feet, i die. why doesn't this effect NPC's sometimes? i've killed wolves and bears just by blasting them into a wall. i think the physical damage of force needs to be looked into more accurately. i mean it's called "unrelenting FORCE" i think i should be able to decapitate you at point blank lol

They weren't hostile cause you need to start a quest there first via speaking a guy at the bridge. It's a bit lame, but whatever.

If you were at the Voltheim towers (The ones by Whiterun, correct) I'd say from experience that they probably fell into the water below, which doesn't kill. I once flung an archer off the highest tower as a werewolf and she gracefully landed in that river below. Judges gave her an 8 out of 10.
