I am running realistic leveling with OOO, and I am not seeing my abilities go up at aall as I level. I just hit level 3 and mys tats have been the same since the begining of the game. Any adives? really do not enjoy the vanilla way of leveling, was pretty exicted about this mod. Its the last mod I run amd I'm not running many modes, OOO, Realistic, and the unofical patches, thats it.

Would greatly appreciate any advice.

Absolutely make sure you are using the Oblivion Script Extender. Besides that nothing else should be required to run the mod. I use realistic leveling and as you raise your skills your attributes rise, I'm pretty sure level only plays a small factor though.

Did you install it using OBMM? For some reason, manual install won't work - it *must* be an OMOD.

It's in the readme:

If you really must install this without using OBMM then you will have to edit the RealisticLeveling.ini file and replace all the tags with values, otherwise this mod will not work correctly.

In response to your questions...

I did install version 1.13 through obmm, it was correctly configured, I used the default settings but I did activate it properly.

So, what you are saying is that even though I anm level 3, it might be I havene raised my major skills enough to gain levels? SOmthing I did notice, my Str is up 3 points, from 55 to 58, but that has been there for a while. Here is the odd thing, my Int and Will are currently at 29. I knwo in the intro level I was using the newbie healing spell and was grabing alchemical componets a lot but I am playing a warrior character with no magic training in major, so I am trying to fogure out how my Wil and Int got raised. No skill that I have shoud raise them...

There are no major skills - RL treats all skills the same. You only have to choose major skills because they're hardcoded into the game; all it does with RL is start them off at 25.

From the readme:
* uses the KCAS "wheel" concept to allow skills to contribute a small amount to related attributes as well as their primary attribute. It does this in a simple and balanced way without significantly changing how skills relate to attributes.

This explains why your INT/WIS have increased. As for the other skills... since all skills are equal, it might take a bit longer for anything to increase. I'm not entirely sure if they increase only at level-up or at any time over the course of play (I don't pay that much attention), but I think it's the latter. It might be that it takes more "skill XP" to increase a stat, especially if you're using a higher cap (65 or 70).

Your attributes rise as you get experience through using skills and not at level up. So you could easily gain a point or two in wisdom, strength and intelligence whilst remaining the same level.

Using a skill such as Armorer will mainly effect endurence but will also have a small effect on Strengh (and possibly Speed?). Every skill use has a major effect on one attribute and a smaller effect on two others - the degree to which this happens is configurable in the .ini file for Realistic Levelling.

Level ups are dependent on total expericence points gained and NOT skill increases. Gaining a skill and levelling will hardly ever happen at the same time.

Ok so I decided to let things play out. I had unloaded the mod and put it back in... Now I'm still level 3. But now the stats are back to my starting stats. I Telly want go use this mod, cause I don't think I can handle playing through with vanilla leveling. I read in the readme that it should integrate with any existing savegame...help!

There's really not much to it. Make sure you have OBSE 19b installed correctly and also that you run the game via its loader. Make sure RL is installed via OBMM so you have the ini configured. If installed manually you have to edit it manually as per the readme. That should be it really. You might want to make a clean save before adding it, i.e. loading a save w/o RL checked and resave.
