I know a cheat exists for clearing bounties
but are there any non-cheating ways to go about this
other than the conventional paying off the guard option?
I know joining the thieves guild allows you to "bribe" the guard into looking the other way
but I don't suppose another method might exist?
I have an enormous bounty on my head and guards constantly chase me around in most towns

Only thing I can think of is yielding and doing jail time.

Ways to clear your bounty = Cheating, Bribing, paying the fine, going to jail, or killing every witness to the crimes.

i dont call this a cheat i call it a Exploit

there is a way of getting out of the bounty without fighting, going to jail, or paying it off. Simply when the guard confronts you you will have 3 choice options, "Im with the guild will this make you go away." or something like that, the 2nd option is, "take me to jail.", and the last is, "I'd rather die than go to prison!". Now use the option to say your in the guild and when the guard asks you if your sure say "nevermind" and the guard will say that you still have to deal with this bounty, if you will notice now the "I'd rather die than go to prison!" is not there and has been replaced with "I don't have time for this, do you?" use this option and he will warn you and your free to go! Please note that this doesn't work all the time you will know if it doesn't work because after ending the conversation the guard will pull out his weapon again and confront you again so keep trying until it works.

I was thinking of storing all my monies/items somewhere safe
and intentionally going out to find a guard to yield to.
hope that's gonna work..
