Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 3:15 am

oh this just gets better and better.
it looks like crysis 2 has been removed from the steam library altogether now.
so the story so far....
pre order limited edition bonus of dog tags and hologram etc are as far as i can tell still available when you buy the game now so so much for a pre order bonus.
game released march 25th
dlc released may 17th
decimation map pack released 14th june

and there are still people who cant get into the main game.

once again they seem to of got their priority's right NOT!

It's probably time to give up completely on this game now. As evident as the 2 DLC packs have told us, Crytek does not care about how we like the game, all they want is money. They've charged us $60 for this game initially and now want $10 for each of the map packs that nobody plays, while the game still does not have the promised DX11.

How many moar ignorant people will i see on this forum... Its amazing how many ignorant people i come across on this forum. I mean seriously, First of all we payed 50$ or 50e, second of all why do u care that others can't get into MP if u can? If u can get in and play without problems then u dont need to care about other nubs which only learned how to move mice around and click play. Sure u can guide them and trying to see if something will happen but that SHOULD not affect u in any way. Did you maybe check videos and E3 news??? NVIDIA reported that crysis 2s ULTRA settings will come in few weeks and will require a gtx 580 to run at playable fps. For DLCs, yeah it is kind of dull that they released 2 Map packs in such a short period of time but again IF you can play without ANY problems MP and enjoy yourself then why do you have a need to troll this forum?
I personaly LOVE MP gameplay and i don't give a flying **** for released DLCs making Crytek and EA look greedy.Im going to play MP until i feel i dont want to play it anymore. Its that simple.
PS: You can ofc feel sympathy for other players that can't play MP but that doesnt justify the fact that they wont bother themselves to fix the problem. Theyre like "Oh look it wont let me play mp, im just gonna troll Crysis 2 forum and not bother with it at all" there can be few dozen of reasons why they cant play MP. Its not cryteks fault because clearily most of us CAN play MP without any problem, its their fault because they probably have **** router/internet connection or **** internet provider which causes MP log in or playing issues.
PS 2:If u want to play the game play if not then stop playing and PM me ur CD key so i can give it to my friend which will gladly play it.

Hope you're happy Crytek with the job you have done but never mind, the console kiddies might save you yet. Nobody can buy the game on Steam now like Brink because of the mess you both made.

Well done Crytek, great business model.

I didn't say anywhere that I cared if anyone else was having problems getting into the game, and much less asked whether you like the game or not. Crytek has their work cut out for them, there are still some serious bugs in the game, yet it's becoming more and more obvious that they aren't too worried about fixing those bugs. I "troll" on these forums because I demand justification for the $60 that I spent on this game, as every paying customer has the right to do so. It's really quite amazing that you still bother to read the forums when you are perfectly happy with the game and have been annoyed by so many ignorant people here. I'm here for a reason, are you?

Repost.

Honestly speaking, EA now is in desperate need of money.

And thus they make a **** of bad decisions. Awful Marketing decisions.

No one will use EA origins, or whats it's called - 'cos people have steam. And mostly dont give a **** about any other service.

If EA wants to battle against steam, they will need approx 100 billion dollars to take the lead (and even with a 100B $ i cant be sure).
A bit of commentary to this thing - laws of marketing say that a leader will always be a leader, unless he loses his steel balls. And bla bla bla

EA has no choice but to change the whole top-management of the company, and find a new one - a new one which will think in longterm, not **** shortterm.

...And have balls of steel.

thinking..
Maybe i should send em my CV?
Oh no, their vacancy website is **** up...

Exactly. Given the choice, people will just stick with steam. The only way to pull in customers is to make certain games exclusive to Origin. I bet that when Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 come out on the PC, they will be on Origin only.

Just another step in the whole disaster Crysis 2 has been from the start. I'm not sure how a company can survive after a **** up like this.

Steam is overrated anyway for pricing. EA store have Crysis Warhead much cheaper and no DRM. Steam may have more games but it's locked down more and requires the client to play the game and login.

I actually brought Warhead recently off Origin because I lost my disk a while back. EA Origin have it for £9.99 and Steam have it for £16.99, so I saved money.
