How do you "add as static"?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 10:57 am

Hi,

I have downloaded the mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28170 and put in in my data folder. The next step is "add as static in the CS." I'm new to modding and haven't come across this before, and I couldn't find anything on the CS Wiki. How do I do this?

- Navigate to the Statics in the Object window

- Right-click on any static item and select 'New'

- Enter a meaningful name. Don't start with a numeral. Prefixing with 'aaa' or similar will make it easier to find your new static once created.

- Select the nif

- Done!

Ooooor,
- select statics in object window
- Open folder where Meos nifs are
- select nifs, drag & drop them into object window
- Done! :D

Positive: all items are there at once
Negative: you don't choose the editor IDs (they are nif name without spaces and underscores which get lost), but you can change them if you want
