I need help!!!

Really struggling to find a big enough mine so i can develop from a good miner to becoming an apprentice smithy.

All of the mines have got like 3 rocks to mine. i want to find a HUGE MINE!!!!!

Buy ore and/or ingots from the Merchants, use other more nefarious means to gather resources from various houses/buildings along the way .

Gloombound Mine has a hell of a lot of ebony in it. I get 24 ingots out of it every trip. Only problem is it's inhabited by some racist orcs!

like the post above says, I buy all the ore, ingots, and leather from the merchants. Got my smithing up to 100 no problem. A good place to buy and create is whiterun since there are 3 BS's there that sell the materials.

There's also the meltdown mod that lets you melt down old items to recover some of the materials...and also fletch arrows.

Halted Steam camp up north of Whiterun (right at the foot of the mountains) has TONS of iron ore.

There's a mine close to Markath (don't remember exactly the name or it's location, but you can recognize it because there's a little house very close to it, and a smelter in the exit of the mine) which has TONS of gold ore. Got about 29 ingots when I finished looting it.

On the way from Helgen to Riverwood is a nice little starting mine which has some Iron...
But for a plenty there is always Blackreach^^.
