Crytek is responsible for pulling Crysis 2 off steam!!!!

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 6:54 pm

Link below states that it was neither EA's nor Steam's decision to pull Crysis 2, but was in fact a decision from Crytek!!!!

Post ideas into why you believe Crytek made this hasty decision!!!

Why should be believe what they say? Well, Crytek will loose sales on Crysis 2 then, so it's their problem.

BS.
This reviewer's statement that "the order came directly from the games developer Crytek" is just a rephrasing of the actual EA statement that "Crytek had arrangements with another distributor that violated steams rules" that the reviewer himself is sourcing. The statement, viewable in the background of the video, says nothing so inflammatory.

Nothing new to see here. Move along.

Crysis 2 is on Origin anyway and there is no reason why it shouldn't be because it's an EA published title like the other Crysis games.

I don't see a reason, why would Crytek do this... I believe this is EA's fault! Btw, here is what Cry-Tom said:

I don't think that would make much sense, all agreements being discussed have been in place for a long time. As for Crysis 2 back on Steam... I don't know at this time, when we have some solid info i'll be sure to share it with you. In the mean time we will continue to support our Steam community however we can.

Will it ever be back on Steam? Maybe in time for Christmas sale to get some more players?

DLC most probably broke some terms and conditions somewhere, especially if it wasn't for sale on steam.

That's my take on it.

This is just an thought, what if since Crysis 2 isn't finished, Crytek doesn't want to put the game on "sale" yet, as we all know steam loves to do to games.
