The Samsung Slate 7 and Skyrim

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 7:59 am

I just recently got my grubby paws on this most epic of epic tablet pcs for 1211 USD (tax and shipping included) over at tiger direct and I just wanted to post that it runs Skyrim with no issues whatsoever on low settings,, I installed this neat program on it that gives me a gamepad overlay on my touchscreen so I can play entirely using my fingers, the experience is truly unique and so much fun, plus I get to rub it in my ipad and android tablet wielding friends faces , while they play crap like doodle jump and angry birds I'm playing Freaking skyrim on an 11+ inch tablet lol

they cant believe it

anyway if anyone else wants to pick one of these awesome tablets up here are the specs of all three versions of the windows 7 tablet!

CPU - 1.6 ghz intel core I5 dual core CPU
ram - 4 gb ddr3 thats right, 4 freaking gigs of ddr3 memory in a tablet
gpu - Intel HD Graphics 3000 - Runs wow at 64+ fps on default settings lol
SSD - 64 - 128 gb capacity
10 finger multitouch capability
Mini hdmi out
1 USB port
bluetooth 3.0
400 nits brightness
WIFI b/g/n

If i forgot anything feel free to add to the list

Tablets are overrated, playing on a Cintiq now that's fun, my pen is my sword!

That is pretty sweet.

For me slates/tablets haven't really gotten to that point though. When Windows 8 comes out on a new set of hardware I'll reevaluate my position though.
