Relic looks awful on console.

Seriously, what the hell happened to this level? The rest of the game looks awesome, yet this level looks bare, with horrid lighting, and low res textures all over the place. I can't post comparison screenshots, but I've just finished playing through Awakening and it looks stunning, almost like a different game with loads of foliage, gorgeous lighting and high res textures. I understand the 360 isn't that powerful anymore, but it doesn't explain as to why the rest of the game looks awesome compared to this one bad one.

I never played the PC version (my PC is... I dunno 750mhz strong. Lol?)
I do agree that some levels in Crysis remastered look very good while others look like trash. I still think that Crysis 2 is looking better than Crysis 1 (on consoles). The first level is the best looking level, but level 4 also was quite eye candy.

well obviously Crysis 2 looks better. The first Crysis is running at a really low resolution and without AA just so that it can perform at a decent FPS. Crysis 2 features a high resolution (whatever the HD 1080p standard is I believe) and it must use AA to some degree. I think that Crysis 2 is prettier to look at on certain levels, but Crysis 1 actually gives you the feeling that you are enveloped in the scenery and foilage 24/7, so if I was about to show off one of the two games to some friends then it would definitely be the first Crysis.

Crysis 1 and 2 run at the same resolution, both have AA and Crysis 2 is definitely not 1080p.

I actually thought Awakening was a pretty ugly level if I am honest. That was the first level where I thought, this is no where near what I remember on PC, whereas Relic I thought was a great acheivement, especially given the size of the level.
