"Kicked from server" or "Connection to the server has been lost."

I don't have any firewall...I have a DVD copy of Crysis 2. Patch 1.8. Can anyone please tell me as to wtf is going on?

Seriously...20 views and no one ? Sigh.................I found a FEW others with these exact errors. I have no router......no windows firewall..no antivirus..........I'm guessing Crysis 2 was a complete and utter waste of money ? If so please let me know so I can return this POS to Costco back down EA's gullet.

no antivirus???? what the hell dude, your PC is like virus playground!

The level of helpfulness is an all time low here isn't it? No I don't use silly antiviruses which barely detect anything like Norton or McAfee. I use the occasional malware scanners which seem to do just fine rather than constant false hits.

And how does not having a firewall create an issue ? Is that a joke or something? :/....

My system specs I think hardly matter in a case where a video game server is kicking me out....if that is what you are trying to imply that it is my system causing this. Because I also tried on a friend's computer, and 3 of my other PC's all having this same issue. I also tried a friend's serial key as well, also having this issue.

I hope there is actually someone who is willing to help here than make bad jokes

Well...I figured it out. While I re-entered the key and was given access to the MULTIPLAYER section, it literally became impossible to use THE SAME PROFILE as it was still sending "00000000000000000000" to servers instead of the re-entered key (the bug which DOES not stick the cd-key correctly ..meaning you enter it every single time).

So in essence, I made an entirely new profile for PC and just re-inputted the key from 0000000000000 to the new one, and logged into the multiplayer account. It made sure that the profile terms were accepted (As if it was re-sticking the key) and it worked.

Flawlessly.

What help can you expect, by not giving any information? You didn't tell system specs, internet connection, problems with other games... You just talked about your firewall -.-

I appreciate you replying to my thread to begin with, but realistically speaking by giving a typical "Did you make sure your computer is online and connected to the internet" responses do not help anyone, especially someone that already knew where you were going, by pointing out that it was perhaps a PC issue. Sure many people get it working, but for an incredibly expensive PC and just an equal number of people worldwide having these very issues, I highly doubt it's PC-side.

Also your very articulated "LOL No firewall is an issue maybe? Whats your specs" does not leave much to be expected, regardless of system specs given. Try being honest with yourself...since when has NO firewall actually been an issue with network connectivity?
