It's not a good idea to post links to something that has not been released official. you could be spreading a virus and who knows if that exe has been tampered with.

The exe could be tampered with from the original exe and the files in it. it's easy enough to do. Anyway, it's useless because you need the 1.9 patch.

It says on the links that it's 4.5GB for dx11 and 5.7GB for hd textures, thought that sounded like a bad joke tbh.

If you actually click a mirror to download, you will see that the actual file being downloaded is the size claimed in the orginial post here. The 4.5GB and 5.7GB claims are incorrect.

Maybe it's not incorrect but the exe files have the textures and geometry compressed, and upon decompression it becomes 5GB.

I don't think these links are virouses. It's not official either, but I'll take the risk. The DL count is almout 2000 downloads.

EDIT: Finished DX11 Patch Download. It's legit, no virouses. Crytek GmbH Digital Signature.

You won't be able to use these updates until you have the mandatory 1.9 patch as the functionality required to use the packages comes within the 1.9 patch.
