Lost saves, settings, everything.

Any idea why this happened after I installed the patch? Went from 1.4 to 1.8 and everything is gone. Stats, saves, profile info etc. The game now believes I have done nothing before today.

Were you using a single player profile name other than "DEFAULT"? If so there are some tricks....
