Just curious about how you approach the giant, annoying wasps and their ludicrous poison damage. Is stacking up on antivenom and healing consumables the only way? I seldom use VATS and even when I use it they always manage to sting, and without antivenoms it's really difficult to recover from the poison effect in hardcoe mode because of delayed healing, especially when it stacks. It's kinda awkward to spend most of my consumables against a little group of bees while other inhabitants of Mojave wasteland offer much less resistance. :sadvaultboy:
I try to spot them from far away (this is fairly easy - their bright orange wings and their rapidly moving red ticks on the compass give them away, but OTOH they have high Perception so they can easily spot you), get into Sneak, and tag them with the Hunting Rifle or Trail Carbine from long range. Having ED-E as a companion is very, very helpful. Once they close the gap, I switch over to a shotgun or a 10 mm SMG to try to finish them off.
If you have Veronica as a companion and you're playing hardcoe, switch her over to ranged attack as soon as you spot the Cazadors. Also make sure she has a powerful ranged weapon and plenty of ammo for it (my Veronica is currently using the Q35 Matter Modulator). Otherwise she wades into the middle of them to punch them to death and usually dies.
