I mean... wut? I just noticed yesterday that you can actually "unlock" the trap triggers that are often connected to chests, doors ect. It still gives the lockpicking minigame though, which made me wonder where is the lock on a rope... hmmm.
I think that it's more news worthy that someone in this world actually hasn't figured that out in the first encounter with a trap trigger. It's hard to miss the sign :" Press E to picklock".

Well. I'm at 130 hours played and i just noticed it yesterday....
I just made every bandit in Skyrim immensely saddened.
That's exactly what i did in my first 130 hours of gameplay... now sometimes i unlock the trap if it's something more painful, like dwemer chopping blades..
