As long as I don't have to upgrade but can still run everything maxed out... and I will NOT upgrade if it's necessary. I'm not wasting my money for that

The game already has striking visuals, this upgrade will make it the best looking game yet IMO. People talk about the death of PC gaming but this shows that there are developers out there spending time to get the most from PC hardware - support Crytek and buy the DLC packs.

i hope the DX11 patch will be insane good! but i loved the single player before too. I only need some more improvements in MP and this would be my favorite game!

I WANT TO SEE REALISM! I didn't buy the game for the story or online, i bought it because i was under the impression that it would look incredible. I did the same thing with Crysis 1 and i was satisfied. I dont care about the campagn in either because they were both shotty.

If the DX11 will patch Crysis 2 into a real "Crysis 2" game, I will still miss the great physics of the CryEngine.

Also: I'm sure Crytek will release the Crysis 2 SDK this month

So THEN we got Crysis 2.
Now it's just a Pre-Alpha

^^^^ same here, i've been getting an average of 70 fps in crysis 2 so i hope dx11 on my ati card wont slow it down a ton. at least we're getting the hi res textures so i can zoom in on everything like i always did in crysis 1
